The system's user's guide comes in two formats:

The Documentation's Purpose and Audience
The system's documentation is intended for healthcare providers who use the system for automatic patient data management in the Labor and Delivery units (L&Ds) and obstetrical/gynecological (OBGYN) units.
The Documentation's Message Conventions
The following are the definitions of the various types of messages used in the system's documentation.
Type
ANSI Standard Definition
Danger
DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Warning
WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Caution
CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
Note
NOTE: Indicates informational messages providing application tips or other useful information that do not pertain to a hazard.
Tip
TIP: Provides extra information about a procedure, such as a shortcut or an alternative method to complete a task.
